Mother’s Day Celebration in State Public School, Shahkot

 On May 11, 2024, State Public School, Shahkot celebrated Mother's Day to honor all mothers. Mothers are our first teachers and they love us selflessly. The students of all four houses, including Amrita Pritam, Kalpana Chawla, Mother Teresa, and Helen Keller participated in various Inter House Competitions on the theme of Mother’s Day. Senior and junior students from all four houses sang group songs, followed by an orchestra performance by the students. Students from classes III-V and VII-VIII recited poems, and students from classes X-XII delivered speeches.

It was an impressive display by the students, and all four houses put on their best performances. Students' mothers also took some time out from their busy schedules to attend the event, and were thrilled to see their children performing so well. They participated in various games, including cooking competition without fire, mehndi competition, musical cheer, newspaper dance etc. This event was a wonderful way for our school community to come together and honor the selfless contributions of mothers.
