World Health Day

 To create awareness about the quality living and importance of health among students, World Health Day was celebrated on 7th April 2024 at State Public School Shahkot under the able guidance of Dr. Narotam Singh and Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, President and Vice-President of Group of State Public Schools respectively. On this occasion, a special assembly was organized by the Science department. It commenced with the Thought of the Day which was presented by Bibanpreet Kaur of class IV. It was followed by a poem with the title 'Health is wealth' which was recited by Tanamdeep Kaur of class 4th. Bhawna and Rajvir Kaur of class VII conducted a quiz and students responded enthusiastically. The speeches were delivered by Kavya of class VII and Inderpreet Kaur of class XII . Kavya conveyed the theme of World Health Day 2024 i.e. My Health, My Right whereas Inderpreet Kaur told about the benefits of eating fruits. The assembly concluded with a speech by the Principal of the school, Mr. Kanwar Neel Kamal. He emphasized the importance of health stating Health is Wealth and encouraged the students to prioritize healthy eating and happiness in life.
